Towards the Campsite

Towards the Campsite

Our in a very rich natural setting situated Campground Beirã-Marvão Alentejo is located next the spanish border in the municipality (concelho) of the impressive old castle town Marvão, from which Beirã is a freguesía.

Between the mediavial village Castelo de Vide and Beira you will find the campsite Beira-Marvao

We are english speaking – as Dutch we know how to offer you the best campsite near Marvão and Castelo de Vide

The Campsite is open all year.

Generally, even in the winter period it’s lovely to stay in Portugal, and particular in this most beautiful environment of Alentejo, also a perfect campsite to hibernate. We have a page with all information on that subject.

It would be nice if you could schedule your arrival before arround 9 p.m. in the evening, but if for some reason you can only come later, just give us a call that day, so we can arrange a nice and quiet place for you.

The name of the street towards our Quinta is:

Estrada de Castelo de Vide – Beira (Marvao)

We are located in “the shadow of” the impressive castle of Marvão, and from your camping pitt, you’re able to see until this unique fortress, build high upon the mountain, with inside the well conserved castle and the nice white village.
